This course defines domestic violence as family violence, and further differentiates the categories of intimate partner violence, child abuse and neglect, and elder & dependent adult abuse, mistreatment and neglect. The core content within this course addresses concerns that are common to all forms of domestic violence. Health care professionals’ responsibilities and mandates regarding recognition, intervention, reporting, documentation and prevention of domestic violence are all addressed. This course meets criteria for continuing education in Florida and provides a general background of information that is applicable to health care professionals residing in any portion of the United States.

This is a 1 hour course designed for home study by healthcare clinicians. Specifically, it meets the 1 hour HIV/AIDS continuing education for Florida health professionals that is required prior to their initial re-licensure. Information regarding the prevention, transmission, control, diagnosis and treatment of Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) infection and Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome (AIDS) is provided. The legal aspects for Florida health care professionals are also discussed.
This is a 2 hour course designed to meet the 2 hour HIV/AIDS continuing education requirement for Kentucky health professionals. Information regarding the prevention, transmission, control, diagnosis and treatment of Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) infection and Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome (AIDS) is provided.
